Kovar, 1.3981, Alloy K semi-finished products and CNC-manufactured components according to drawings.
Your partner for special components from prototype to series.
We supply Kovar 1.3981 raw material, semi-finished products and process your end products from small quantities to series production.
Kovar is also known as NILO K, Alloy K, FeNiCo, Pernifer, Rodar, Dilvar, has the material number 1.3981 and is subject to the American ASTM F-15 standard. 1.3981 is a nickel-iron alloy with 29% nickel, 17% cobalt (remainder iron). The advantage of the material is that it has the same thermal expansion as borosilicate glass and ceramics. It can therefore be easily joined or installed with these materials if the overall design is subject to temperature fluctuations.
Kovar is a tough material but can be milled and turned with the right tools and experience. We would be happy to take over the CNC processing of Kovar 1.3981 for your individual component.
Our common stock products are Wire, Rod, Rods, Bars, Square, Plate, Sheet and Foil.
Other shapes and products FeNiCo alloys on request.
Special components processing from Kovar 1.3981 according to drawing.
We supply you with semi-finished products for your in-house production, but we also take over the CNC production of your parts. 1.3981 is a tough material and the processing of fine contours and compliance with tolerance accuracy requires appropriate know-how.
With our many years of experience in machining Kovar / Alloy K, we are happy to support you.
